The Science City is located on a 50 acre plot at the Eastern Metropolitan (E.M.Bypass) by pass Park Circus junction connector. This was constructed by National Council of Science Museum. This is a good place for entertainment and learning of science. Following are the main features of Science City:
Space Theatre – A theatre for screening documentary films of various interests (some of the previous documentaries were on Maya Civilisation, Coral reef, City of Joy, Dolphin, Space expedition etc.) The screening will be done on a dome shaped ceiling which doubles as giant screen. One can experience the feeling of being part of the scene shown. Available in English, Hindi and Bengali languages.
